Ferriby Marine is aware the full potential that the internet and web based software can offer which will no doubt change the way we learn. how often do you see people pick up a book to find the answer out these days- the likes of Google and WIKI are first on the contact list for the knowledge search. Knowing this Ferriby Marine are creating some web based distance learning course so that candidates will be able to complete the whole course in the comfort of their own home and in their own time. The courses will still require objective evidence and end of course test to be completed to show that the candidate is competent in the subject. The courses will be integrated with videos, voice over explanations/commentary as well as activities and other interactive training resources. Trainers in the subject areas will be contactable face to face via video phone call & other means to offer additional assistance and support where needed. Ferriby Marine will be offering these courses in the near future when a stable teaching platform has been developed to handle the courses to Ferriby Standards.
