Who should attend?
Personnel involved in all aspects of Environmental Management
and Auditing.
What qualifications are required?
No qualifications are required, but it is advised that all
candidates who wish to undertake the course, do some research into the
standard as there is a substantial amount of material to get through.
How many can attend?
Attendance is limited to a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12
delegates per course.

An Introduction to Environmental Management Systems.
An Introduction to the relationship between ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001:2004,
and OHSAS 18001:2007
·Types of Audit – lst, 2nd and 3rd Party fully explained with practical Case
Studies.
Auditing Techniques: Planning – Preparation – Performance – Reporting and
Follow-up Close Outs.
Writing Audit Findings as Audit Reports including accidents, incidents and
hazardous occurrences.
Corrective and Preventive Action and being able to identify Major, Minor and
Observations for the Environment.
Requirements to become a Lead Auditor for Safety and the Environmental
Management Systems.
Interactive training, combining Lectures with practical application of the
techniques and requirements in Team Role-play Scenarios.
Course Examination to test understanding of Auditing ISO requirements as
specified by IRCA.
